Terms of Service

Welcome to RUGS ("the Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

RUGS is an Etsy to Pinterest listing sync tool for Etsy sellers. It reads your own Etsy shop listings (via the official Etsy API, read-only) and creates Pinterest pins (via the official Pinterest API) to drive traffic back to your Etsy shop.

• {{ config("app.name") }} allows Etsy sellers to sync their product listings to Pinterest. It reads your own Etsy shop data via the official Etsy Open API v3 (read-only) and creates Pinterest pins via the official Pinterest API v5.
• The Service generates AI-enhanced pin content (titles, descriptions, hashtags) optimized for Pinterest SEO, which you can review and edit before publishing.
• Pins are created on Pinterest through the official Pinterest API with your explicit authorization. You can also copy or export pin content for manual use.
• The Service accesses only your own Etsy shop data. It does not access other sellers' listings, modify your Etsy listings, or perform any write operations on Etsy.

• You may not use the Service to scrape, crawl, or extract data from other sellers' Etsy shops or any other platform.
• You may not use bots, scripts, or third-party tools to interact with the Service in an automated manner beyond its intended functionality.
• You may not implement dynamic or algorithmic pricing through the Service.
• You may not use the Service to circumvent, bypass, or violate the terms of service of Etsy, Pinterest, or any other third-party platform.
• You may not use the Service to publish misleading, deceptive, or spam content to Pinterest.
• You may not use the Service for any illegal or fraudulent purposes.

• The Service is designed to comply with Etsy's Terms of Use, Etsy's API Terms of Use, and Pinterest's Developer Terms.
• Etsy API access is read-only: The Service only reads your shop listings and product images. It does not create, modify, or delete any data on Etsy.
• Pinterest API access creates pins: The Service creates pins on your authorized Pinterest boards using the official Pinterest API v5. All pins link back to your Etsy listings.
• All AI-generated content is presented as drafts for your review. You can edit any content before publishing to Pinterest.
• The Service respects all API rate limits and does not make excessive or abusive API calls.
• Users are solely responsible for ensuring that any content they publish complies with Etsy's and Pinterest's content policies.

• Listing sync: Syncing your own Etsy product listings and images to the Service for Pinterest pin creation.
• Pin creation: Creating Pinterest pins from your Etsy product data, with AI-optimized titles, descriptions, and hashtags.
• Direct publishing: Publishing pins directly to your Pinterest boards via the Pinterest API.
• Copy and export: Copying or exporting pin content for manual use on Pinterest or other platforms.
• AI content optimization: Using AI to generate SEO-optimized pin descriptions from your product data, with full editorial control.
• Product browsing: Viewing and managing your imported Etsy product listings within the Service.

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You may disconnect your Etsy and Pinterest accounts at any time from Settings.
• You may export all your data or delete your account at any time. See our Privacy Policy for details.
• OAuth tokens are stored encrypted and can be revoked by you at any time by disconnecting accounts.

• All content generated by the Service's AI tools is produced for your personal and commercial use in connection with your Etsy shop.
• Your Etsy product data remains your property. The Service only stores it to provide the content optimization features.
• The Service's interface, code, and branding are the property of {{ config("app.name") }} and may not be copied or reproduced.

• The Service offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid features include AI-enhanced content generation.
• Billing is handled securely through Stripe. We do not store your full payment card details.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access to paid features continues until the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us for refund requests.

• The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
• We do not guarantee that AI-generated content will be accepted by or perform well on any third-party platform.
• We are not responsible for any actions taken on your Etsy or Pinterest accounts based on content prepared using the Service.
• We are not liable for any account suspensions, penalties, or damages resulting from your use of the Service or the content it produces.
• Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

• You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it from the Settings page.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, abuse the Service, or engage in prohibited activities.
• Upon termination, your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

• We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated accordingly.
• Significant changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice.
• Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
